You are going to take skating lessons at Jaap Eden's skating school or you are going to register an e-ticket. And, of course, you are welcome!

Our terms and conditions are set up so you know exactly what to expect from us.

These general terms and conditions apply to the activities and skating lessons given at the

Jaap Eden rink. Jaap Eden rink is the trade name of the Jaap Eden Ice Complex Foundation,

established in Amsterdam at Radioweg 64 and registered in the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce

of Commerce in Amsterdam under KvK number 41204870.

• Registration / participation

If you participate in an activity, loose visit or course you request an agreement from Jaap Eden rink

by registering on the Jaap Eden website (www.jaapeden.nl)

By signing up, you agree to the applicability of these terms and conditions and agree to be

data are stored in the records of Jaap Eden rink and for the purpose of these

agreement are used.

The contract is concluded by Jaap Eden rink sending an email confirming your

participation. The agreement is for the duration of the activity or course or for the current

season.

If there is insufficient interest in an activity or course, it may be dropped

of the program. In that case, your already paid entrance and/or tuition fees will be refunded.

• Accessed

Prior to your activity, you will receive the admission ticket associated with the activity or course or -

pass.

If you lose your access pass for a skating course, you can get a new access pass for the remainder of the course for a fee of €6.

Children participating in an activity or course ages birth through 12 are entitled to a

ticket for one parent/guide. A non-skating parent/guide can register with the

participating child report to the cash register and ask for a visitor's ticket. If requested, a

participant or parent/guide to be able to show the entry ticket to the track staff.

• Class days

Please take careful note of the overview 'lesson dates' at skating lessons or your registered visit when you buy a loose e-ticket or register a ride from your multi-entry pass. You will receive this overview at registration/on the first day of lessons. Different opening hours apply during school vacations (City of Amsterdam vacation schedule) and on national holidays.

• Other provisions

The group size and number of skating instructors to be deployed will be agreed upon by Jaap Eden rink

with the skating school determined .

Jaap Eden rink reserves the right to make program changes. You will be

informed of this in a timely manner, no later than two weeks prior to the time of modification.

In the event of large crowds and/or unforeseen (weather) conditions, Jaap Eden rink reserves the right to

for to change opening hours or close all or part of an accommodation.

• Safety and house rules

Be aware that there are risks associated with sports practice.

In order to provide skating fun to all, we must adhere to house rules. These

house rules are published on the skating school's website and on text boards at the entrance

of the rink.

• Liability

Jaap Eden rink is not liable for damage, confusion, abandonment, loss and/or

theft of your personal property in connection with your stay in and use of the rink and

associated facilities.

Use of the artificial ice rink and or ice hall + associated facilities is at your own risk. Jaap

Eden rink is not liable for any damage (physical or otherwise) suffered by the participant of any kind

also, occurring during or in connection with the use of the rink, associated facilities or available

set materials has occurred, barring intent and gross negligence on the part of Jaap Eden rink.

Participants in activities are liable for all damages, incurred during or in connection with the

stay in or use the accommodations and/or associated facilities and/or available

set materials is inflicted on Jaap Eden rink, unless there is normal use

or normal wear and tear.

• Payment and collection

Your registration is final after payment of your course and entrance fees or your registration of your e-ticket or multi-entry pass/take-up visit . Payment is made through the IDEAL payment system.

• Cancellation policy, termination of participation and refunds

Your participation of one automatically expires at the end of the course. Jaap Eden rink has

the right to cancel a course if there is insufficient participation or force majeure.

Refund of course fees is possible upon written request for cancellation of the course,

accompanied by your class card. We do charge a €12.50 administration and cancellation fee.

Refunds of entry fees will be charged to single tickets.

If you have taken more than 50% of the classes, no refunds can be made. Catch up

of your missed classes is not possible.

Cancellation of your clinic or children's party for which payment is due at cash register can be made

until no later than 48 hours in advance. For cancellation less than 48 hours in advance, the entire amount is

due.

Relocation of your e-ticket, catch-up visit or rides card visit is possible up to 2 business days before the start of the time block. Refunds are only possible in exceptional cases.

• Choice of law and forum

These general terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law.

All disputes concerning or arising from or relating to a contract with Jaap Eden

rink concluded agreement to which these general terms and conditions apply in whole or in part.
