If you normally come by car from the A10 or from Diemen to the rink, then as of next week you will have to pay attention. The Middenweg will be closed to car traffic between the A10 and Kruislaan from Monday, October 28, 2024 until after the end of the skating season. This means that from the ring road you cannot drive your usual route to rink .

We are pleased that Middle Road is being renovated and that we will have a beautiful new access road. However, this may (depending on your time of visit) result in temporary additional travel time. To take advantage of your full ice time, we recommend checking the current traffic situation on Google Maps, for example, before leaving by car.

Er zijn verschillende wegen van de A10 naar Jaap Eden:
1. Route Rozenburglaan (groene route) – Neem afrit 12 richting het Reigerpad.
2. Route Amstel Station (rode route) – Neem afrit 12 richting station Amstel.
3. Route Voorlandpad (blauwe route) – Neem afrit 13, parkeer je auto op parkeerplaats Voorlandpad en loop in 5 minuten naar de ijsbaan.
4. Route Amsterdam-Noord (niet op afbeelding) – Neem afrit 15 en rij over de Schellingwouder- en Amsterdamsebrug naar de ijsbaan.

For those coming by streetcar, cycling or walking to rink from Diemen, there is nothing to worry about. Streetcar line 19 will continue to run and cyclists and pedestrians can continue to cycle and walk along Middenweg.
