Curling is played with curling stones on wheels and is a variant of the Olympic Sport curling. This outing is given outdoors at JAAP's Winter Square, in case of rain the outing will still go on, as there are beautiful large tents over the playing field.
We make sure all the materials are ready after which the curling can begin!
The winner of the mutual tournament will receive a beautiful curling cup at the end of the outing!

Winter curling on the ice
Curling on ice is an active party game and is great for team outings, birthdays or as a fun group outing. Ice-stock curling is played with wooden ice sticks and is a variation of the Olympic Sport curling. Curling on ice can be booked from November 2023.

About the game
After a brief explanation of the rules of the ice-stock curling game, you will be divided into teams. These teams will play a mutual curling match, until a champion team is left with the Jaap Eden Curling Cup!
Duration clinic: One hour including game explanation and team assignment. At least 45 minutes of the clinic you will be on the ice.

Curling in the disco
Discocurling in the ice hall is the perfect activity for a swinging team outing, birthday or group outing. Discocurling is played with hits, wooden ice sticks and a pile of disco lights to dress it all up.
- Swinging but also suitable for a less athletic group
- Available from September on weekdays
- Suitable for groups of 12 to 80 people
Discocurling is an active party game and is great for team outings, birthdays or as a fun group outing. Ice-stock curling is played with wooden ice sticks and is a variation of the Olympic Sport curling.
This outing is held in the ice hall where we turn on the disco lights and sound system! We make sure that all materials are ready and you will receive an information card with all the rules and the tournament outline from us and them the fun can begin! The winner of the tournament will receive a nice curling cup at the end of the outing!

Skating clinics
Jaap Eden IJsbaan is the perfect place to enjoy a fun clinic outdoors at an affordable price. During our skating clinic you and your colleagues or friends will go on the ice for an hour with an experienced instructor.
- Spending great times together on the ice

- Minimum of 8 and maximum of 16 participants per instructor
About the skating clinic
Jaap Eden IJsbaan is the perfect place to enjoy a fun clinic outdoors at an affordable price. During our skating clinic you and your colleagues or friends will go on the ice for an hour with an experienced instructor.
Novice to advanced skaters will find what they are looking for. In consultation with your instructor you can choose the goal of the clinic, this way everyone will have a great time.
Wearing (combo) skates is recommended for the clinic.

We have two different ice hockey clinics
The basic version:
Ice hockey, also known as the fastest team sport in the world, is a true experience. Ideal for an active and competitive outing! Fixed parts are: braking, turning and shooting. And, of course, a match at the end!

- 90 minutes, 60 minutes "on ice
- €19.90 per participant
- Includes: helmet, knee pads, sticks, pucks
- Excluding: ice rental a €350.00 per hour
Or the expanded version of Mister Ice Hockey: Ron Berteling
A former Dutch ice hockey player, Ron Berteling made 213 appearances for the national team, making him a record international and earning the title "Mister Ice Hockey.
This program consists of running turns, dropping off, braking, stickhandling and shooting the puck. After the exercises, a game will be played. Of course, the program can also be adapted on the spot in consultation with Ron.

- 135 minutes, 60 minutes "on ice

Modeling your colleague
The workshop Modeling your colleague is a super funny and a real team building activity. You will make a clay head of your colleague, teammate or friends during this workshop.
Through the teacher's instructions, you learn very quickly to recognize the specific characteristics of that person, which already is hilarious, and then you recreate them. This makes your clay work look really alike in no time! Really, even the least creative get a dazzling result! It is amazing to see everyone working between all the laughs. Of course, you can take the result home and every day you will see the clay head again and you will laugh about it again.
