At Jaap Eden it is important that every employee, student and visitor can work, train and enjoy the sport of skating safely. Nevertheless, it may happen that during your visit, lesson or working day you are confronted with transgressive or undesirable behavior that makes you feel uncomfortable or even unsafe. Think of discrimination, (sexual) harassment, physical or verbal aggression and bullying, but also integrity issues such as fraud, theft or other violations of the law. It is not always easy to talk about this, but it is important to report it so that something can be done about it. What can the confidential contact person do for you?
A confidential contact person is not only a listening ear, but can also provide appropriate advice and support for possible follow-up steps. The confidential contact person will treat your story confidentially, but is required to prepare an (anonymous) report for the board/management.
