Train through the summer with skate fit
During the skating fitness workouts at Jaap Eden we will work on abdominal, leg, buttock muscles on the grounds of the rink . Condition, strength and flexibility. The trainings are perfect for skaters but also non-skaters are welcome!
The different training courses and packages
Next summer there will also be training sessions for everyone who wants to stay skates-fit. During the trainings we pay attention to the basics needed to glide across the ice more easily. That way you will become a stronger skater and you can improve technically!
The trainings are given in two variants; Schaatsfit and Schaatsfit PRO. The pro training sessions are suitable for those who are currently taking lessons at a high level or are competing at the associations. The regular Schaatsfit trainings are suitable for everyone.

The difference between Schaatsfit and Schaatsfit PRO
The PRO trainings are heavier and more intensive than the normal SchaatsFit trainings. Anyone can follow SchaatsFit, however, SchaatsFit PRO is more suitable for skaters who ride at level 6/7 or compete at one of the associations.

and make up missed training
In case of a missed training, you can book a catch-up training. You then join a training where there is still room. This applies both to training sessions cancelled due to holidays and to training sessions you miss because you cannot attend one time.
Clothing
There is the possibility to change clothes, but due to limited options, we recommend that you come to the location in sportswear te. Wear sportswear (long/short) and outdoor sports shoes. Training will be primarily outdoors, so bring a jacket! In bad weather, training can be held in the ice hall. Bring a water bottle to training so you can have a drink every now and then.
Training site
The base of operations for training is the first floor of the jury tower. In case of bad weather, there is the possibility of training in the ice hall.
